When looking at listings and touring properties, it’s important to keep some things in mind. We’ve compiled a list of questions you should think about during this process.
- How is the neighborhood? We’ve noticed buyers can narrow down their search by driving around in the area. This allows buyers to understand the feel of specific neighborhoods. We advise this upfront!
- How are the amenities? Do communities have parks, playgrounds, walking trails, or swimming pools?
- Do you want to be close to schools? Do you want to be in walking distance? We have resources available to provide to you.
- What are the average utility bills? Do you have a newer or older home? A newer home will be more energy efficient, but an older home might not be updated. Examine the roof and major systems. This will help determine if an older home has been updated.
